We tried the traditional intimacy products, so we know what can happen: itching, burning, and overall discomfort. We didn’t understand why sex, one of the most magical, pleasurable experiences known to humankind, had to be so painful for so many of us. So we made it Good Clean Love’s mission to create organic intimacy products that put the pleasure back in sex. By pleasure, we mean that our products are good, they’re clean, and they abide with our mission: To increase the quality and quantity of healthy, loving relationships on the planet by providing natural sexual well-being products and essential educational resources.
We’re a certified B Corp, we’re MADE SAFE™ certified, and we’re an approved Coop America Green company. We believe that the “good” in Good Clean Love depends on our commitment to align our business with the greater good. How do we do this?
- It’s our policy to use certified organic and the highest-grade natural ingredients whenever possible in all of our products.
- We use recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging whenever possible.
- We implement earth-friendly practices in our office and company.
- We create products that are safe and healthy for humans with minimal animal testing.
- We use absolutely no petrochemicals or parabens in any of our products.
What you’ll find in all of our products is good and clean enough to put on your most private parts. Whether we’re making personal lubricants, natural aphrodisiacs, or our signature Bio-Match™ products, we take great care to select organic ingredients and create product formulations that work with your body, not against it. We only use the finest ingredients — no petrochemicals or parabens. You can enjoy all of your intimate moments without worrying about any adverse reactions before, during, or after. Good sex isn’t about side effects!
We pay close attention to the science of our ingredients. Good Clean Love’s line of organic personal lubricants has been named one of the safest products of its class in independent scientific research, including a recent study funded and endorsed by the mothership of medicine, the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As a member of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics — a branch of the Breast Cancer Fund — we ensure that all of our love products are free of petrochemicals and parabens, which have been found in breast cancer tissues and identified as potentially carcinogenic.
Since we believe it is vital to replace the use of petrochemicals and parabens in all intimacy products, we provide samples of our products to health care professionals across the country. We are also continuously working to educate women, physicians, and retailers about the importance of clean and healthy ingredients in love products.
Oh yeah, and that whole before, during, and after? We pride ourselves on the fact that we offer sustainable solutions for every moment of your intimate life. From scientifically formulated personal sexual health products that mimic the body’s natural lubricating response, to natural aphrodisiac formulas, to our best-selling line of organic personal lubricants, we have you covered in (and out of) the bedroom.
But love isn’t something you do just with your body. On our blog, Making Love Sustainable, you’ll find a wealth of information about love, sex, communication, current sexual health trends, and more. As a mother, wife, accomplished writer, and expert loveologist, Good Clean Love’s CEO, Wendy Strgar, will show you how to recognize, cultivate, and flourish with loving relationships in all aspects of living.
Good Clean Love has obtained MADE SAFE™ certification for its most popular products: Almost Naked Organic Personal Lubricant, Bio-Match™ Restore Moisturizing Personal Lubricant, and Bio-Match™ Balance Moisturizing Personal Wash. These products have passed MADE SAFE™’s comprehensive human-health-focused safety screening, meaning that they are made entirely from safe ingredients — that is, ingredients that are not known or suspected to cause human health harm as determined by scientifically recognized lists from around the world.
As a pioneer in the organic lubricant industry, we believe that we have a responsibility to be a leader in our business practices, too. The B Corporation model allows us to communicate to our community our commitment to adopting practices that positively impact our community and contribute to a more equitable and environmentally sustainable world. We gladly undertook the B Corporation certification process to ensure our business practices were at the highest levels and to place us in the best position possible to effect change to benefit our community, our environment, and our clients.
