The highs and lows have been extreme lately. More and more my daily effort and my passion merge into something that an onlooker might call my bliss. Some days I am overcome with the sheer luck of being able to spend my days promoting love. The story grows and amplifies with each success, and yesterday I was on the 11 pm news. But the real win is in the notes that our friends and customers send to us. Like me, they are just working to love the lives they have chosen and some days are better than others.
When the message clearly hits its mark, there is no amount of marketing money that can create the authentic gratitude of people re-discovering their capacity for love and intimacy. It is the most valuable thing that I do, besides loving the family I have created with as much tenderness and patience as I can muster.
