Dr. Ina Park is an Associate Professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, Medical Director at the California Prevention Training Center and a Medical Consultant for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-Division of STD Prevention. She received her MD from the UCLA School of Medicine and MS in Clinical Research from the University of Minnesota-School of Public Health. Dr. Park was a co-author of the 2021 CDC STI Treatment Guidelines and a contributor to the first Federal STI Strategic Plan (2021-2025). A fierce advocate for public health, she lives in Berkeley, CA with her husband and two sons. She published her first book, Strange Bedfellows: Adventures in the Science History, and Surprising Secrets of STDs, in February 2021.
