Since 1985, October has been dubbed Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer organizations and charities internationally aim to bring awareness to this devastating disease that is most deadly cancer for women worldwide.  This month serves as a crucial time for breast cancer awareness and prevention efforts globally. Given the unique circumstances of 2020, we wondered how KAB was adapting to the times, so we reached out to Shaney Jo again to find out what’s new in her world regarding breast cancer awareness and prevention. Although I often wax poetic about the years of raising my children, I often think about what it would be like now, having them home in the midst of this pandemic and how challenging it would be to be the source of their primary caretaker without the support and distraction of school and sports.
