International Women's Day is a time to celebrate, and this year, we want to shine a light a little closer to home. The world needs women's voices, women's vision, and women's leadership more than ever, and we are so proud to be a company built entirely by women who show up every day with purpose, passion, and an unwavering belief that love, in all its forms, has the power to change things.
Today, we wanted to introduce you to the incredible women behind Good Clean Love:
Wendy Strgar | Founder & CIO

Wendy started Good Clean Love in her kitchen, driven by a deep belief that love should be at the heart of everything: including the products women trust with their most intimate health. That mission grew into a pioneering career in women's reproductive health, and the development of patented Bio-Match® Technology, a groundbreaking approach that uses biomimicry to support the vaginal microbiome in a way no other product on the market does.
She has always thought beyond the product: advocating for women's health research, pushing for safer industry standards, and ensuring that the science of vaginal health is finally getting the attention it deserves.
"My mission at Good Clean Love was to increase the experience and awareness of love in the world, and as time goes by, that feels more important than ever."
Brenda Demers | CEO

Brenda has spent 25 years building brands with both commercial rigor and genuine heart because she has always believed that the most powerful businesses are the ones driven by purpose, not just profit. At Good Clean Love, that means leading a company where purpose and product are truly inseparable, and where the mission of bettering women's lives is part of everything we do.
Outside of her work at Good Clean Love, Brenda is a passionate advocate for women in leadership, mentoring and creating space for more women to lead, scale, and build companies on their own terms.
“I aim to be a conductor of energy that helps nurture songs into symphonies.”
Kim Capone | Chief Scientific Officer, Vaginal Biome Science

Kim has spent more than 20 years at the intersection of science and real-world impact, taking microbiome research out of the lab and into the hands of the people who need it most. As Chief Scientific Officer at Vaginal Biome Science, she leads our scientific strategy, focusing on microbiome-based diagnostics and therapeutic innovation for vaginal health. She brings rigorous, pioneering thinking to an area of women's health that has been historically underfunded and under-researched.
Before joining VBS, Kim spent 13 years at Johnson & Johnson, where she founded and led the company's Microbiome Platform across Baby, Beauty, and Oral Care, directing global clinical studies, shaping scientific strategy for flagship brands like Aveeno® and Neutrogena®, and conducting landmark research that helped establish the scientific foundation for microbiome-safe formulation worldwide.
Kim holds a PhD in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis from Northwestern University, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and holds multiple U.S. patents in microbiome applications and women's health technologies. Outside of her work, Kim is a passionate mentor and advocate for women in science, driven by the belief that the best science should always serve human wellbeing.
“Science is a way of listening to the body’s hidden language, and my work is about bringing that language into the light so women can finally have the knowledge and care they deserve.”
