“Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible – it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could.” –Barbara de Angelis
Becoming more intentional in your life, especially when it comes to matters that engage our emotional intelligence and heart opening is the only path to a meaningful evolution and aging process. In human social systems, the idea of agency or becoming an agent has to do with our ability to make choices, as opposed to some predetermined destiny. It embraces the idea that we have the capacity, and some might argue the responsibility to make decisions and enact them on the world.
It is easy to believe that our choices don’t matter or that we don’t have the power to make real change in our world, so plagued by huge global issues that only seem to be accelerating. Despite our increased technological devices designed to connect us, more and more people feel increasingly alone. Instead of building intimacy, many of the most popular digital applications increase social anxiety and distance us from ourselves.
The cure for these social ills may well be found in this new social movement of Love Agency. Becoming a Love Agent requires you to act in 3D, to bring more of your sensory experience into your relationships, to make communication devices secondary to the communication itself. By choosing to join the ranks of thousands of other Love Agents, small personal choices designed to enhance your immediate visceral sense of connectivity and feelings of closeness to the people you love most, will help form an energetic wave that will create a ripple effect all around you. The Dalai Lama was once quoted saying, “Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.”
In fact, there is no more profound pebble to drop into the chaos of our days than a loving act. Even a few moments of true listening to a heart that needs to be heard can be literally life-changing. Even the smallest Love Agent missions asking you to show up unexpectedly for someone could so shift that person’s sense of self worth and self respect that it changes the trajectory of their day, maybe even their lives. Adding a few moments of tenderness and exploration to typical routines of lovemaking may well be enough to shift the entire container of your relationship. Also, changing the quality of your thoughts about yourself or the person you are working to love for even an hour at a time will open your eyes to a world you literally could not perceive beforehand.
Performing love missions as an intentional Love Agent every day or even once a week will change you without even trying. Transmitting love to other people, even if you are being rewarded will feel so good in the moment you are doing it that loving choices will soon become second nature. This is a viral movement you want to catch. Sign up to become part of the love agent program that will change the world. We all need you.

Our sense of smell is ancient and the source of our most powerful emotional memories. It is also the primal sensory pathway to sexual attraction. And yet, we often give little attention to all that our sense of smell can evoke, in part because we have so little vocabulary for scent. Often we're limited to “it smells like…” and delineated only between pleasant and unpleasant.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, here is an idea that not only promises to make the holiday more enjoyable, but also has the potential to benefit your relationship for months afterward: working with the contradictions in your heart by finding balance and even synergy between seemingly opposing emotions.
